[City Pass Payment 1/2]
The rhythmic pitter-pattering of the raindrops against her little, yellow umbrella made her smile. Shifting the shopping bag in her right hand slightly, she ventured into the busy marketplace. Even if it was a rainy day, it was full of life with people, purchasing or selling merchandise.
Maybe I should have some fish for dinner ...
She passed by a shop selling traditional items: sandals, hair combs and pins, rice-paper umbrella, kiku dolls, wall scrolls, and many, many more. In front of the store, two housewives compared the prices of two different types of sandals and occasionally broke out into mysterious chuckles.
And some mochi for dessert! It's been awhile since I ate anything with an in it.
Few boys around her age played around in front of a convenience store, still in uniform even though it's has been several hours since the school has been over. They each had a long black bag over their shoulder; they most likely finished their club activities and stopped by to grab something to eat. They looked tired but didn't look unhappy as they bit into their 300 yen onigiri.
The small restaurant that was a size of her bedroom was packed with hungry workers. Most of them wore black suits and white shirt or a designated uniform. The shout of an order, the chatter and gossip, and a stream of light smoke, they all leaked out from a half-opened window.
She was nearing the corner now, but something caught her eye.
A
kimono to be exact, displayed in front of a professional kinomo shop. It was a good one, the fabric, the pattern, and the embroidery work of pink petals were all wonderful. But she couldn't possibly afford one. She probably couldn't afford one even if she saved up all her monthly allowances.
But she continued to admire it. Maybe it was an unavoidable girl "thing."
"Haa - ... Well, time to move on!"
And as she turns away, you can catch a reflection of a
different looking girl who should be Atoli.
-
Atoli turns over in her sleep. Mumbling slightly.
