This one'll be shorter, I promise. Though in case I didn't say it before, this is totally becoming my vicious ranting space, which is great fun. I love having an outlet for comedic tearing apart online. Good fun.
But yeah, this one I actually feel personal about because I realized this the hard way a good while back, and people can vouch for it. But yeah, here goes:
Why the hell can't some people understand 'love' and 'obsession' are not even -remotely- the same thing.
I mean, seriously. Obsession is very rarely a good thing, in any case, ever. Be it over objects, people...whatever, it's never really good. But some people just seem to think it means they love it, or they care about it. But, this then leads them to such awesome logic as "I care about this thing, so it better fucking do shit for me."
You know, things like that.
Now, I know I've been guilty of this in the past. I sure as hell did it back in say, 9th grade, with a certain good friend of mine now who I should probably not tag in this just to avoid my own embarrassment and inevitable e-blushing. Which is a stupid term I just made up. But yeah, seriously, people are really stupid and I don't get them. But seriously, that was 9th grade. I was what, 14? 15? I acted like a typical, immature, freshman. Five-to-six years later things have changed a hell of a lot, as I'm sure most of you could attest to!
Case in point, OBSESSION is not LOVE, never will be, period. Just cause you care about a person or thing, or, sorry, 'care' about it, really doesn't mean it's obligated to do everything you want it to. In fact, that's quite backwards.
Once again, this is Jeeps. And I freaking hate people.
