Just placed my preorder for the Nintendo Wii. Last one that the local gamestore had (I got there an hour before they opened to stand in line even!). Even managed to pay for it all by trading in old games and DVDs I was looking to sell anyway, score! :D

I got there 45 minutes early to stand in 30 degree weather but was denied a Wii. 18th in line, they had 14. That's what I get for living in a college town.

I was really on the fence about getting one. I may still, but I can't stand preordering. If I can't just walk up and buy it, I'll get it some other time. Both DS and PSP are keeping me busy and have the real killer feature - suspend mode. Being able to stop a game wherever and get back to it hours later without re-viewing all those splash screens(manufacturer, game system, publisher, game studio, music studio, video codec) is a godsend.

If they had a new Animal Crossing for Wii at start, I'd have to have it. Damn game's more insidious than Harvest Moon. :)
