Characters: EVIL!ALEX & AU!AMARA Date&Time: a few months ago/night Setting: her room Summary: This isn't his room. What the hell? Rating: TRAGIC. Status: Open to Amara.
It had been a hard, hard day. The attack by the Sentinel had caught them all by surprise, and while they'd saved the school and casualties were minimal, not everyone had made it out alive

"I uh.." He paused, collecting his thoughts, trying to figure out what to tell her, and the fact that it was difficult to concentrate told him he'd lost a lot of blood. "I'm not sure why I ended up here," Alex lied. Even with the blood loss and the pain, he knew the answer to that question. It just scared him.
"I think I should probably just--" Alex closed his mouth, pointing towards the direction of his room.
"It's fine, Alex. Come in," she replied, placing her hand as lightly on his bruised and cut arm as she could to stop him from leaving, trying to find a spot that wasn't injured but almost completely failing. She didn't mind that he'd shown up here. Better here than some of the other rooms on this floor. Blood loss made you loopy, made your decision-making less than clear.
"Here, sit on the bed. I'll get some cloth and I'll clean you up, okay?" She tried to guide him in that direction, but she didn't want to put pressure on him if she didn't have to.
Alex turned back to look at her when she reached for him, and he flinched. God, he actually flinched when Amara of all people reached for him, and it wasn't because of her it was because his mind kept replaying the last couple of hours in his mind. For an instant he'd thought she was Erik, as illogical as that was, and the realization that she wasn't showed clearly on his face in a very rare show of open shame.
He stared at her through those blue eyes of his and didn't say a word. Instead, he just nodded and followed her in. Alex took a seat on the end of her bed, staring at the floor in silence.
