Hank had needed a break, a time out as it were. The 'Fantastic' Four were holding their own celebrations and plans. The ability to alter dimensions now existed, and there was even some form of speaking terms between Victor VonDoom and Reed. He recognized Hank's voice without even looking at him, keeping his cold gaze on the Statue of Liberty. Without saying a word, he powered up his palms, gathering the energy into a red ball of plasma that slowly turned blue, then threw it towards the statue. "I thought it was time you and I spoke." Hank admitted, and in all honesty, he jumped at Alex's outburst against the Statue.

He had heard, through the rumor mill, about the battle that had taken place at the mansion. 'Soldiers' on both sides had their say about it, though admittedly it was more the 'enemy' than those on the side of Erik Lensherr and his 'X-Men'.

He knew that many people had died, and that 'their' Alex had come back. He was still unsure if this was truly a good thing.

"Gee Hank," Alex commented sarcastically, finally turning to look at the other mutant, "nice timing. You run off and join a merry band of costumed freaks when I offer to let you help me take down our biggest target ever, and now you want to talk? Whatever could we possibly have to talk about, you and I? The fact that you turned your back on us maybe? Or even the fact that you personally insulted me by doing it?"

"You know, I always knew you were a pacifist, but to wait until the fucking smoke is cleared, until your friends have been slaughter, and then walk back to our side?" He scoffed. "Well that just makes you a goddamn coward."
