Amara had been up for a few hours, her morning exercise routine having been pushed earlier and earlier as she spent time at night with Erik, always slipping out of his room at the crack of dawn. She'd just gotten out of the shower when she heard the knock, slipping on a tank so she didn't answer the door in her underwear, towel rubbing at her hair.

She gasped, almost dropping the towel in shock, before she noticed the expression on his face, the person in front of her not the Alex she'd seen at first. The outfit looking almost natural on him, made him look more dangerous, more in control. But his eyes didn't lie. She took a deep breath, bringing the towel down, holding it in front of her. "Alex. I didn't expect to see you here."

He saw the look on her face, the way she seemed excited almost, and he knew that look wasn't for him. No, it was a look she gave her Alex, a look reserved for Havok. "I uh...I'm sorry," he commented, feeling a bit like he'd betrayed her by showing up in the stupid costume. "I didn't mean to make you think..."

Alex paused, realizing just how much she wasn't wearing. "If this is a bad time I can go..." he motioned back towards the hallway.

"No, it's not your fault. Not really. I just...I didn't expect to see you in it, not at my door anyways." She stood aside, hand with the towel gesturing him inside. "It's fine. It's not like I'm naked or anything," she replied, honestly not bother by the fact that she was semi-underdressed. Certainly, compared to him, but not improperly so.

"Erik kind of...well it's not important," he told her, shrugging it off. In truth he'd put the costume on because it hid most of his wounds and bruises, but she didn't need to know that.

Alex stepped into the room hesitantly, feeling out of place there, especially dressed like someone he wasn't. "It's surprisingly comfortable though," he added, turning to look at her. "The outfit I mean. Looking at it I wondered what the hell he was thinking running around in it, but when I put it on..." There was definitely a power that came with it. This costume demanded attention, respect, and everyone in this universe feared it.
