Another goddamned Johns PotW.
I fought it as hard as I could, but I simply cannot give the Pick of the Week for 4/1/09 to anything but Flash: Rebirth #1. Johns' modern take on Barry Allen combined with Van Sciver's excellent art and amazing covers was simply too much for any of this week's other books.
That said, if Flash hadn't been Reborn this week, Destroyer #1 or Irredeemable #1 could have easily taken its place. Wow, it was a great week for first issues. Kudos, modern comic industry!
