New Year's Resolution
Yeah I know they all get borken or so it seems, and I have not made one in years. This one is different. This is a resolution to realise a dream I have had since High School.
I will this year repair my credit to the point where I will be able to buy a house at the end of this year.
I have a plan. I do not want to waste money on rent any longer than I have to. I want my own space that I can do whatever I want to do with. I want my rent (mortgage) $ to work for me and not someone else. I want the stability that come with owning a house, something that eludes most of us here in C-U.
I said I have a plan. And the plan is this:
1) Open a Savings Account (SA) with my Christmas $
2) Put the check cashing fee I would otherwise spend in the SA each paycheck instead.
3) Put my Plasma Donation $ ($160/month) in the SA.
4) 1st check of the month pay on my student loans
5) 2nd check ot the month pay off something that is on my Credit Report
6) Bounuses that i earn @ work will be divided between savings and paying on Credit Report items.
7) Obtain and use responsibly a Credit Card to establish good payment history over time.
By doing this I will have $2210 in Savings (not including intrest that accrues) and be current on school loans and have a cleaner Credit report to get a home loan with.
I guess I really didn't realize until just now how much I really get over a year of doanating plasma that I have been wasting on the After-Game Restaurant.
Well, so that is it. I will post updates on progress throught the year.
