Before I go to bed, here is a collection of Beast Wars drabbles.
All of them were written for BW100, all of them exactly 100 words.
Various characters and pairings are represented.
Title: Dreaming in Need of Comfort
Characters/Pairing: Optimus Primal/Cheetor
Prompt: dreams and nightmares
Optimus Primal & Cheetor - Dreaming in Need of Comfort
Cheetor had an uncanny talent that couldn’t be explained, or really even understood. Whenever he entered stasis mode, no matter the circumstances, the scout dreamed. He dreamed of strange things, things he couldn’t possibly know about-- events that hadn‘t happened yet; people he’d never met.
He also had nightmares.
The quiet mewing and whimpering brought Optimus into his quarters, and the geologist understood right away. Wordlessly he padded across the room, and knelt by Cheetor’s berth. He pulled him gently into his arms and hummed to him, and before long the scout calmed.
Cheetor's dreams were pleasant all that night.

Title: Devoted, Unworthy Servant
Characters/Pairing: Inferno, one-sided Inferno/Megatron
Prompt: ambition
Inferno & Megatron - Devoted, Unworthy Servant
The other Predacons could think Inferno a fool, but he didn’t care. Their disloyalty to the Queen always resulted in their own defeat, and the punishments their wise leader gave them-- while his own devotion was rewarded well.
Although, in one way, they were right that he was a fool. Just not for the reasons they thought.
His spark had given into terrible ambition. As much as he tried to suppress it, there was no denying how much more he loved his Queen than her servant ever should. And now instead of living for her, he lived for her love.

Title: Seeking to Dominate
Characters/Pairing: Terrorsaur
Prompt: terrorsaur
Terrorsaur - Seeking to Dominate
Terrorsaur was a Seeker.
He knew his heritage, he loved it, he embraced it. He was a handsome machine gifted with flight; a Predacon to be envied, a force to be reckoned with.
And he hated sharing the skies with anybody else-- especially Maximals.
It didn’t bother him so much back on Cybertron, with so many people, but on this alien planet the skies were his, and he didn’t like having Primal or Airazor or even Inferno horning in on the one thing he could dominate.
Oddly, though, he never seemed to mind so much sharing his domain with Waspinator.

Title: The Markings of Appreciation
Characters/Pairing: Rhinox, Dinobot/Rattrap
Prompt: kinks and fetishes
Dinobot & Rattrap - The Markings of Appreciation
One morning Rhinox noticed something about Rattrap and Dinobot. Strange marks had appeared on them, as though they had fought a whole pack of Predacons. They were scratched from their faces to their thighs and everywhere in between.
The two of them wouldn‘t say anything; Rattrap just went into the CR chamber and later Dinobot came back for his turn. This happened several times, but not consecutively.
Rhinox pointed it out to Optimus, who helped him solve it. They noticed the marks weren’t very deep. They noticed they only appeared overnight. They realized that some mysteries are better left unsolved.

Title: The Vermin's Gift
Characters/Pairing: Dinobot/Rattrap
Prompt: romantic
Dinobot & Rattrap - The Vermin's Gift
Initially, Dinobot wasn’t really sure what to make of it. There was a large piece of metal, some kind of junk, deposited on his berth.
He picked it up warily and sniffed it-- then he jerked away reflexively; it smelled like burned fluids.
He noticed the undertones of garbage, too. It told him this had been left by Rattrap. It seemed to be a war trophy torn from some unfortunate Pred. Surprising gesture, for a Maximal.
He carried the mangled part across the room, and set it on his desk.
Coming from the rodent, it was quite a… romantic gesture.

Title: Secretly Meeting
Characters/Pairing: Packrat/Fractyl
Prompt: breaking the rules
Notes: Non-show characters, but canon. Mild sensuality.
Fractyl & Packrat - Secretly Meeting
Fractyl gasped as he felt sharp teeth graze his shoulder, and servos holding his back and aft, lifting him up. He wrapped his arms around the dark blue Maximal, murmuring praises, because it felt so good and he knew that secretly Packrat just needed to hear them.
He knew a relationship across the factions was wrong, dangerous. But he was more than drawn to the Maximal thief, despite and because of his flaws. It was worth playing with fire to be with him.
He didn’t need to ask if Packrat felt that way-- the Maximal was always there first, waiting.
