Summary: When Rodney’s sister dies, he finds himself the reluctant guardian to his thirteen-year-old nephew, Trent. Rodney is at a loss but tries his best, only to have his nephew constantly getting into trouble in school. John Sheppard is a math teacher at Trent’s new school, and meets Rodney at a parent teacher conference. Together the two men learn more about themselves, parenthood, and unconditional love then they ever expected.
