Hi, this is a comment on your statement "Call it inconsistent writing or call it fan denial on my part, but I think Sheppard is a better person than that."

I haven't made it to the story itself yet so I'm giving you feedback right now on your personal opinion of Sheppard's portrayal in the later seasons and just want to say that I heartily agree with you. They've turned his character so dark and seemingly untouchable that even I find myself extremely disappointed in the direction they've taken his character. I use his moniker because HE was the sole reason I continued to watch after The Rising. He was a great, light-hearted character with a true sense of right and wrong and loyalty and they've allowed him to lose all of the virtues that made me follow him into four seasons.
