Something that shocked me. :O
It's just something that I noticed in the newspapers the other day, but I would say it almost makes me sick to say that apparently, the teenage girl stabbed to death in London at th beginning of the week was the 31st young person to be killed by knife crime since January. I think that's really scary, and horrifying, if we think that there havn't even been 31 weeks this year, so that's more than 1 a week. And the government view seems to be "we need to do something about it" and yet they say that the statistics haven't gone up recently.
I seriously do not think that the numbers were this high last year - I think we'd all be aware of that. Surely??
I just wanted to say something on the topic because I fnd it sickening and utterly ridiculous. What is happeneing to our country?? Because it really gets to me.
N.B. I've also decided that Gordon Brown is a bit of an asshole, what I found particuarly amusing was a statistic, which I forget exactly, but said soemthing along the lines of 100x more people logged onto Youtube to see this rather than PM Questiontime. That says a lot doesn't it.
