I'm really, really glad you liked it. I don't know why SGA couldn't have done something like that scene for Sheppard and Kolya (but, I don't think Kolya's really dead... so we'll see - maybe I should send a copy to Martin Gero??)

I know it was a little long, but the challenge was to be kind of like an episode of the show and I got carried away. Like I say, it just seemed to grow exponentially. When I'd do one thing, I had to make sure this or that was also done to be consistent. It was a real learning experience for me, but one I really enjoyed and I already have in mind another story that might be this long - at least I don't have a deadline this time.

I was over at your LJ, too, after I'd started writing. I was worried because some of the things you had written were more "edgy" (that's a good thing) and I wondered if you preferred to read fics like that. I also see that you are a Sheppard fan and I could only hope that I would do the John in your head justice - a hard thing to do.

One more thing, if you know, you would want me to write that missing scene - the one after Rodney's door closes, you know all you'd have to do is, um ask. You know, if you wanted me to? (ahem)(because you know I'm dying to, right?)

Anyway, so pleased that you liked it. I've got a few hours to myself today, so I'm gonna go read the others.
