Selen checked his bow and bantos rods before stepping into the room for talking, where he would be meeting with his team and Elizabeth concerning what they were doing today. He hadn't liked leaving Radek, but he had committed to this and he would not go back on his word.
Hunter walked into the conference room and was surprised to see that he wasn't the first one there. "Hey, Selen," he said in greeting. He wasn't exactly sure what the deal was with the Athosians and Zelenka but he knew that he needed a solid team and so far Weir hadn't said to scrap the Athosian. So until something changed, he'd do his job.
"Good day to you, Captain Hunter," Selen greeted, inclining his head. "Is there somewhere specific I should sit?"
Hunter didn't think it made a whole lot of different where anyone sat so he replied, "No, not really. Go ahead and grab a seat."
Peter felt whispers of nervousness mixed with excitement as he made his way to the conference room. He was leery of what they might face off-world but at the same time, the potential finds were worth it. He'd already been swept up into a wraith dart so he figured if he could handle that, he could handle anything.
Selen selected a seat along one side, facing the door. "I believe we are going to explore a planet where it is hoped our people could escape if there were any danger here, is that correct?" he asked, then nodded and smiled as Doctor Grodin stepped into the room.
"Yep," Hunter replied with an easy smile, "that's the plan." He turned his attention to Peter Grodin who had just walked into the room. "Hey, Doctor Grodin, go ahead and grab a seat. We're just killing some time before the briefing."
Peter nodded his understanding and sat next to Selen. He really didn't think it mattered where he sat but he was unsure about the potential cohesiveness of his team. "Captain Hunter, Selen," he said in greeting.
Selen smiled and inclined his head to Peter. "Doctor Grodin, I hope your day is going well."
