Day 55, late morning/almost noon; Weir's office; Attn: Elizabeth [F]

Mar 10, 2010 18:44

By the time his jumper was landed, Ruiz had called and reported the world where Ford had taken the jumper was devoid of human lifesigns save their own. It was possible that Ford had cloaked the jumper, but more likely he'd dialed out to somewhere else. They could send a science team through-- with the proper military escort-- to try and figure out the address, but John had a feeling it wasn't going to turn up anything. Aiden was long-gone.

He parked the jumper and climbed out with his rather subdued group of men. "Report to Sergeant Bowen, see if he needs help," he instructed them before heading off in the direction of Elizabeth's office, his thoughts turning to their conversation before Rodney had straightened things out, and he frowned. She'd pretty much rejected his entire set of observations without even asking for clarifications or explanations and jumped straight to reminding him he wasn't supposed to shoot their friends. He wasn't sure why she thought he was such a loose cannon or if her attitude extended to the entire military, but he wasn't terribly happy with being dismissed like some sort of gun-crazy psychopath.
