Ridley stepped back and surveyed the camp area. The three boys had been quite hard-working in clearing the snow and now the camp was surrounded by groups of snowmen and snow forts and other creations. Within its boundaries, they'd staked areas for designated purposes-- the largest for where tents would be erected, and other areas for food preparation, washing, sanitary facilities. Nuurmi had already claimed an area downwind of the camp for tanning hides and they'd erected several tents-- Nuurmi's, Halling's, Dran's, Belem's, and Charin's. Ridley had claimed a spot for his, but the DRASH sat unerected, waiting for their military friends to come show him how the thing went up.
There was more he could do, even in his present state, but instead he crutched back to the jumper where Tim was, hoping to steal a few minutes before the other jumpers arrived and they had to behave themselves.
