Ronon had gone in for an early lunch and was making his way back to the gym when he heard it. A couple of marines - he couldn't remember their names, but he knew he'd beat them at some point - were walking down the hallway towards the mess hall talking in low tones. He hadn't really meant to eavesdrop, but his mind still insisted that every scrap of information gleaned was one more thing that could possibly mean survival, and his ears were sharp. Eyes narrowing, he turned down the next hallway, making his way towards Sheppard's office. Once there, he walked in, rapping sharply on the open door, fixing Sheppard with a stony glare.
"I heard about the mission," he said curtly, before Sheppard could say anything.
