Carson once again sat in front of his computer staring at the cursor. He needed to email Rodney and felt sick over it. He didn't know how the other man would respond and he really wasn't up for more accusations

Rodney stared at the screen, frowning at the formal greeting, the very unpersonal "Beckett". For a moment he was hurt, cause this seemed only to prove his point - Carson never was really honest with him. And now that he had witnessed the intimacy between Carson and Jackson, there was no need for Carson to keep his cover of being "friendly" with Rodney. Once having that thought, there was a whole string of thoughts that followed, and none of them was particularly pleasant. Unwilling to make the first step to figure out if he might be wrong and taking into consideration that Carson had been honest with him, Rodney decided to fire back.
