Day 52, noon, mess hall, attn. Heightmeyer, Selen (F)
Kate was grousing to herself as she searched the city for a particular Athosian. She had been able to persuade Carson to allow Selen to visit Radek by explaining the need to think out of the box. Radek’s behavior towards Carson had been just as unpleasant as it had been with her. Carson said he could easily see that even though untrue, Radek was convinced that they only cared to get him back up and working. Of course, it was her job to go and find Selen.
As Kate walked out the Athosian area with no luck, she had to admit to not blaming Carson. If his conversation had been as bad as he made it out to be then she did need to be the one. She had gotten various reports of where he’d been headed and of course had to check them out. All she could say was that at the end of this day, she hoped that Adam would be comfortable with human contact. Maybe dinner and some time together.
So far, Selen wasn’t with the botanists, or in the gym. The only place left to look was the mess. Kate reasoned that if he wasn’t there she could at least grab something to eat as she continued to search. Kate stepped into the mess and saw people already getting their lunch. She scanned the area to look for him.
