Day 50, late afternoon, jumper bay and beyond, attn: any [F]

It's not easy to guess what other people are thinking, even for an anthropologist. Being primarily a linguist, there were more psychological aspects of Anthropology that did not come easy to Christoph. Seeing Major Sheppard leave the jumper bay, and remembering past conversations and observations of the man, he could hazard a guess at what had driven his departure. But he could not begin to guess how the other people present were interpreting the event. As to his actions, he didn't care how they were interpreted. He'd been through enough scrutiny in his relatively young life, and his soul was old enough to realise that there are so many things that other people can think about you that just don't matter in the grand scheme.

It had only been a few moments since McKay had gone after Sheppard. Christoph made his way quietly to the back of the crowd and followed them.
