Jack finished his breakfast and stood, swiping a couple of muffins and a thermos of coffee on his way out. He felt like he'd been in bed recovering for months now, even though it had been only a few days thanks to the Ancient healing device. (
Today was his first day back and he was anxious to be moving, doing anything. )

"What is this?" she asked.

"Strawberry?" Hernandez asked.
Jack looked back. The man had eaten half the thing already. "What did you think it was?"
Hernandez shrugged. "Some sort of blue fruit."
"Apparently in the Pegasus Galaxy, strawberries are some sort of blue fruit," Jack answered, then turned back to the prisoner. "It's food. A sort of sweet bready-pastry thing."

She picked at it, surprised by the texture of the food as it rolled in her mouth. It was sweet, yes, but with the tang of -- "Gallah!" she exclaimed, delighted as she realised one of her favourite berries had been baked into the treat.
