Calvin had crashed the night before next to Chuck's bed in the infirmary, waking with a start thismorning, and spent the next few minutes making sure Chuck was comfortable before leaving for his quarters.

Marran hurried to where she had been told to meet Calvin to examine the Wraith Dart. She had never seen one so close before, and she had never intended nor wanted to, but Halling had assured her that there were no more Wraith in the city.

She was to act as medical backup, in case they were able to get their people out of the Dart. She hoped it would be so -- they needed everyone, and there was some chance that Major Lorne might be among those in the Dart. If he were found alive, then perhaps Major Sheppard would be more at peace. He had been desolate since Evan had been Taken.

She was nearly out of breath when she arrived at the Dart. Calvin stood staring at it, an expression of deep disgust on his face. She could not blame him in the least. She feared touching the thing herself.

"Calvin," she said, catching her breath. "I am here. I hope nothing has happened yet?" None of the military she had been told to expect had arrived yet. "How is Chuck? Traan has been in the infirmary most of the time, and I have been with the rest of our people and have not had time to check on him."
