Subject: Department Meeting
I regret to inform you that Dr. Christoph Reichstadt is currently in the infirmary, and the prognosis is not good. As such, according to Dr. Reichstadt's notes, I have been named interim department head until such a time that Dr. Reichstadt recovers, or if someone wishes to speak with me concerning the position.
As a result of this unexpected chain of events, I would like to try to hold another department meeting, since there has been different amounts of progress made with the Ancient database translations.
Items on the agenda include:
1. Compiling all information learned so far from any translations made.
2. Assigning specific sections to different personnel, if feasible.
3. Internal meet-and-greet. Placing names with faces is a good idea.
4. Any questions, concerns, or important business as time permits.
I will endeavor to read your personnel files before the meeting, so I have a better handle on how to best utilize your talents. Again, if there is anyone who wishes to speak with me concerning the interim department head position, feel free to email me at my personal email address.
