Round #1 Challenge #3 - Prompt

FYI: During the voting process, several comments referred to the "incorrect" lack of a period/full stop after the abbreviation of doctor in some entries.
While the period/full stop after the abbreviation for doctor and mister is required by American English, British English does not require its use (apparently, because both the first and last letter of the word appear). Therefore, the abbreviation Dr is perfectly acceptable grammatically.
CHALLENGE #3
The theme this week is "Gifts". Interpret that however you like.
Word count req: 600 or less. Titles do not count towards your total.
Please post your entry in the comments of this post (or if the entry is too large for the comment window, email them to the moderator as a .txt attachment) no later than Saturday, August 26. All entries will be screened.
If emailing your entries, format them exactly as you would when posting to LiveJournal - meaning, with all the necessary formatting in place (, , etc.).
Please include a title, rating and/or spoiler warnings in the subject line your entry (e.g. Happy Feet, Adult, Spoilers for "Trinity"). If you need to credit a source other than Stargate Atlantis, please include this information somewhere as well.
