The door to the closet slid open, and an eight year old girl with wild brown pigtails and intelligent hazel eyes stood before them. All the lights of Atlantis were on for her.
'Found you!' she squealed, throwing herself into the John/Rodney tangle. 'Okay, my turn to hide!'
From somewhere under the dog pile, Rodney muttered, 'I will kill you for teaching her to play hide and seek.'
'Come on, Rodney,' said John, grinning as he climbed to his feet and took his daughter's hand. 'Don't be a spoilsport. You're just mad that Meredith found us because you were so loud.'
Rodney's swearing was cut off by the closing swish of the closet door.
