The Braves begin a series with the division-leading Phillies. Atlanta has taken 8 of 12 from Philadelphia on the year, in large part due a starting staff that has posted a 2.81 mark against the potent Philly bats. The Braves trail the Rockies by 4.5 games in the Wild Card race coming into tonight's game, but are coming off of a tough series loss to the lowly Padres. The Phillies lead Atlanta by 7 games in the divisional standings.
