Frantic weekend
I have been so busy since Friday it isn't even funny. So we get all the yard sale stuff priced and work like mad on Friday getting the tables out and the rope up for the clothes, etc. I didn't get to bed until like midnight and then had to turn around and get up at 5:30 Saturday morning. We work like crazy getting all the stuff set out, settle down in our chairs, and it starts raining. *frustration* So we hurry around and get everything put in the boxes in the back of the truck and in my car, haul it all home, put it back up, and start cleaning the house. The appraiser is coming to look at the house today, so it had to be spotless. Well, as it turns out, it's a good thing we didn't have the yard sale because it took all day Saturday and Sunday to get it clean. It's the best it has ever looked. Not ONE thing is out of place. It smells and looks so clean. I love it! Makes me want to buy it even more. So anyway, last night after we FINALLY finished, we took Chicago up to Brandon's parents house and got almost all the way through it when DJ called and said his truck was leaking oil. So we had to take DJ and his girlfriend all the way to Canton where she had left her car and drop her off. It got dark by the time we got to Canton, so I had to drive Brandon's mom's truck back because she can't see well at night. It was an adventure. It was actually a good time. I got home and Brandon had made a fruit salad which is REALLY good. I made my bed this morning for probably the first time since we've lived there. lol! (with the exception of when I change the sheets). So all in all, it was a stressful busy weekend, but I'm hoping and praying the house doesn't appraise for much so we can afford to buy it. Property and houses around here are OUTRAGEOUS! People will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars just for an acre lot. It's insane. Please PLEASE let it all work out!
