MANY MANY apologies for the lateness >____<

Though the ninja forces were strong, they weren't strong enough--the pirates got the better of them, overpowering their speed and agility with their brute force. It was a tough, difficult battle--and made of all kinds of epic.

Spurred on by their victory, the pirates continued to travel across the seas, wreaking havoc and terror everywhere. The pirates docked at a remote Earth Kingdom port and began to travel steadily inward, pillaging and plundering a wide path as they went. In an attempt to stop the pirates, our valiant heroes chased after them, demanding them to stop and return all that they had stolen. However...

After a few days, the pirates found themselves lost in the middle of the desert. Our heroes followed soon afterward, sweating buckets and coughing, reaching out for water. Pirates and heroes alike could not bring themselves to fight, so dehydrated they were. But, just as they were about to give up hope, a tall tower rose above them--Wan Shi Tong's fabled library.

It would be cool and comfortable in there, they realized.

But in order to get in, they would need... knowledge.

THE CONFUSED PARTICIPANTS:

says, "Aw, man! I saw a wanted poster at the last city, but I didn't take it."

says, "Someone bend me water out of the air--I demand it!"

says, "*collapses, panting*"

says, "*pulls at collar* It was never this hot at the Sotuh Pole!"

says, "Those cacti sure look juicy..."

says, "...I wouldn't touch those if I were you..."

says, "Come on... aren't you all going to get angry? You all have this dead look on your faces."

says, "I would bend some water from the air, but it's just far too dry."

says, "Too... hot..." Mai trips over a dune of sand in her exhaustion and injures her arm. Oh no! :(

says, "Cheeeep ;_;"

says, "Hmm... should I warn Jet about the cactus juice? ...Nah."

says, "Don't be mean, Sokka. JET! DON'T TOUCH THOSE CACTI!"

says, "All this sand is getting stuck in my wheelchair's wheels. T_T"

says, "*pulls off fur coat* T____T"

says, "Enough with waiting around. I'm going to go find a book." Zuko trips over a dune of sand and injures his arm. Oh no! :(

THE CHALLENGE
This week, we'll get to see how good your typography skills are: You must caption your icon with the title of a book. Other than the limitations on book titles (detailed below), there are no other limitations to your icon.

Title Limitations/Elaborations:
■ The book does not have to be fiction. It may be nonfiction, the title of a collection of poetry, etc.
■ The title of the book must be at least two words long. Articles (the, a, and an) are not counted in the title's wordcount unless they are in the middle of the title.
■ Exception to the above rule: If your book's title is one word long but is a proper noun of some sort, it's okay. (Ex: Siddharta would count as a valid caption.)
■ Hyphenated words are counted as however many words there are if the hyphens were replaced with spaces. (Ex: Catch-22 would count as a valid caption.)
■ Please include a link to the book you are referencing in your submission, be it a link to a Wikipedia article, a book review, an Amazon page, etc.
