Why Hello There
An update on the glorious life of Rachel, lol....busy, pretty much sums it up. For those of you who don't know I have been working the last 2 1/2 months at the FSU Foundation...between that school, and of course Marc...I have been super busy all the time. However I am very much looking forward to Thanksgiving. I leave on Monday, after Ancient Myth...stupid quiz...and will be back Saturday. I am not coming back for the UF game because it is at noon and I would not be able to make it back on time. :( Guess I'm just not meant to see FSU play UF in person...ever. Lol. I am excited to go home and see my family, play with my cats, rest, eat some good food, and hang out with old friends. We no longer have cable at my house, too expensive, so there will be much less to distract me. I have no choice but to work on some school stuff over the break...but I just have to remind myself...three more weeks of this madness and then you get a real break for a couple weeks. Although that won't seem like much of a break b/c we are leaving the day after xmas to go to my grandparents in Orlando b/c my brother has a basketball tournament...and I will be back here for New Years!!! Super excited about that one b/c it will be the first time ever that I have had someone to kiss on New Years, but sadly it will be the first time since first grade that Jamie and I have not spent New Years togather.
I also get to see my brother play two games over Thanksgiving, which is awesome cause I miss seeing him play. Also, going to download a bagillion songs and make cds b/c my music collection is sucking right now. The malls back home open at midnight after Thanksgiving....so I will be there to do a little shopping...not much. I have actually got most of my Christmas shopping done already...and the bank account is making sad faces because of that, lol.
Tomorrow is FSU's homecoming game...but it's supposed to be cold, and I already have Marc's horrible cold :( so I may not go. I want to, but I don't want to risk getting worse before Monday. I have to go and get my car aligned anyway. The guy said he will give me a student discount though, so it will only be like $60. Still sad, but car maintenance must be done. Marc and I are going to Mellow Mushroom tomorrow (Happy Dance), and seeing Borat. Fun, fun fun. I'm excited!!! I am going to miss him lots over Thanksgiving break, but it's only a week, so I guess I'll live. :/ Plus, I expect phone calls this time lol. Well, I think I have bored everyone to tears with stuff all about me so now I am going to go!!!
