Originally uploaded by atl10sbumOur Neighborhood decided to do Halloween tonight ( the 30th ) so we got the front porch and walk way decorated this afternoon. Our neighborhood is one of those that goes all out. People come here to trick or treat. I was hoping since we had switched the night up maybe not so many kids... I believe we had around 250 tonight. It was madness.
We have huge trucks full of kids in the back go thru, hayrides being pulled behind tractors, and golf carts going up and down the streets. People have scary music, fog machines, bon fires. It's kinda cool.
We were super busy giving out candy all night long. I enjoyed it. I like speaking to the neighbors, and everyone compliments us on the decorations. I have to admit a part of me wishes I was out, dressed up, at a party or at a bar or club, enjoying the company of adults and adult beverages, and not wishing 3 year olds " happy halloween " over an over again. A couple of besties were having a halloween party tonight, and we were unable to attend, and then another of my BF's was headed out for a night on the town, and a part of me really wanted to hang with him. But Its kind of a tradition here, so we stick to form.
So Happy Halloween to all my friends out there both tonight and tomorrow ( the actual halloween day ) Have Fun, Be Safe, and know I'm with you guys in spirit no matter what or where you are.
