When all is said and done
I posted my last blog entry of my service trip to Jamaica. It made me feel pretty good, just remembering everything that went on each day. It's fairly general because I didn't want to write a lot of details each day. I didn't do horrible on my Myth midterm, I could have studied more and I will for the next set of exams. I need to look at classes for next semester asap, my advisement appt is Tuesday. I don't like my advisor, she hasn't really advised me well at all and I still feel a little in the dark about the next step after undergrad.
At work today I had to cut a huge branch off of a tree in front of the store and dragged it(is that the correct way to say that, or is it drug?) to a clean up crew. The guys talked to me for a little bit and I found out that they are from Mississippi and they drove up here to help Buffalo clean up. They are one of the only hurricane clean-up crews in the U.S. and when their boss told them they had to drive up to WNY, they said they thought he was joking. Until they got here, then they realized how bad it actually was. "I love this city, but shit, if you get 2 ft of snow in October..." crazy southerners.
I went to Chippewa last night to watch the Sabres game with Katie and Sarah. We were at Soho and my dad called me because there was a shooting on Pearl Street near Chippewa. A guy got shot in the face and was in surgery, not sure if he lived or not. My dad told me to finish my beer and go home. haha Thanks guardian angel from Lewiston.
