I wish my nose would never bleed ever again. I had a really horrible nose bleed when I got back from Montana, it was bleeding in the back of my nose, I think up in the sinuses. Bad news bears. So today of course it thought it would be fun to have another one. Not as bad, but annoying as usual.
I have to go check on my aunt and uncle's house today, that I'm watching while they are down South for the winter. They are moving to South Carolina to be with their kids and granddaughter.
The Taqwacores movie screening is today at Hallwalls. I think I'm gonna go alone. Mainly because I can't find anyone to go with and because I really want to see it. Depending on how it is, I will order the DVD and then have a movie night. Bandits game later.
"Based on the novel by Michael Muhammad Knight, The Taqwacores (Eyad Zahra, 83 min.) deals with the complexities of being young and Muslim in modern-day America. Yusef, a first-generation Pakistani engineering student, moves off-campus with a group of Muslim punks in Buffalo, New York. His new "un-orthodox" housemates soon introduce him to Taqwacore-a hardcore, Muslim punk rock scene that only exists out west, which challenge his faith and ideologies. Named one of the top 10 films at Sundance 2010 by Time Out London."
