Happy 2011 to all
The Holidays were busy as usual, but not too bad. Hard with family and the little cousins running around, and thinking about my mom. The kids are growing up so fast and it's awesome to see how smart they are and how they problem solve. My one aunt was annoying like she was on Thanksgiving, cornering me and asking how I was really doing. Way to make me feel awkward. Nothing I like more than that!
Yesterday I received an email telling me that I had been promoted and converted off of the Federal Intern program to a career conditional employee, which is excellent news. I was getting a little nervous because the documents hadn't been posted yet to my e-file, but now they are. Woot.
I booked my flights to Montana yesterday for February. It's going to be an expensive trip, but it will be well worth the snowboarding trip.
