If there was one person presently that I would want to hang out with for a couple days or a week straight, it would be Marilyn Manson. No doubt. I used to be like the average angry youth who would think he was scary, etc. but his music was so against the grain that it was awesome. He is coming up with some of the greatest music ever. His lyrics are surpassing each other, it is insane. He is a true artist and has capitalized so much on the goth/industrial scene of the world. His intelligence is just amazing. I downloaded six songs from his upcoming album and they are so good. I'm not sure if they will all be on it.
The beach sweep was this morning, but I was not the site captain, even though I basically was because people came to me with questions about what to do with needles and other sharp objects...because the site captain was across the street at Tim Horton's for the majority of the clean-up. This time of year I get really depressed about the environment. I try my hardest to clean up when I can, do the right things, but when I do the beach sweeps I just want to beat the crap out of every ignorant person who lives in Buffalo. The West side is so run down and full of low life trash. Used condoms, tampons, blunt wraps, dime bags, lighters, fast food containers...the list is never ending. It makes me sick because people shit where they eat and don't care about littering a little here and there. You live right by a fresh water river...why are you ruining your home?!
I'm going to the Bandits game with Katie. She came in town for the weekend and no one wanted to go, so free ticket! Woot
