yes i am finally updating
let see, where did i leave off....
oh yeah madison greene...do i really even need to say anything about that?? you know i had a blast. a bunch of their hardcore fans came so it was great dancing with them. my legs paid for it two days later.
geez, now that its days later from when everything happened i dont really feel like writing about it
so i will in brief
My last intervarsity Christian fellowship was wonderful. I am just in awe of how God has worked through that organization and really touched the lives of the people that went. I balled my eyes out periodically throughout the evening and then went with two of the girls (fellow social workers) to hang out with the other social workers for their traditional Thrusday drinking night at the bar, since it was going to be the last one. It was my first bar experience (not including shows) and it was fun for the first half an hour that i was there and then it got old. I hate having to shout to have a conversation and i dont like random drunk guys talking to me. overall, i just enjoy being around people more when they aren't drunk. (i'll refrine from my "why i hate alcohol" speech. if you want to hear it, ask me personally). When two of my friends asked me if i wanted a drink or if i was the designated driver for the night, they both seemed genuine in saying that it was cool that i dont drink and seemed to respect it. I wasn't really expecting those responses and its not that I was expecting them to respond negatively, i just didnt think they'd respond so positively. hmm, dont know if that makes sense.
so that brings me to friday which is was the day of our social work banquet, which no one wants to hear about, because its all inside jokes so i'll just leave it at that.
I do need to give a shout out to my roommates who came in my room at 11:30pm to help me get the poster putty off my walls. it was a big project.
saturday, my family helped me move out and i managed to not load or unload one thing into the cars except for my fish. how that happened, i'm not quite sure but it was nice. haha.
speaking of fish, i gave one of my fish to my roommate karen because he was getting too big and was pooping way too much. so now i just have crust punk, my upside down swimming fish. hopefully he wont get seperation anxiety.
