Arrived yesterday, was convinced for a short while that I was in Hell, Belgium. Arrived at hostel, met a few people - one from Spain, one from Turkey. Walked around - the city is like a large shopping mall will cafes on the outskirts. Also went to see War of the Worlds. Disappointment. Finally have something warm, had failed to pack anything with long sleeves, was anticipating ridiculously warm weather through the entire trip. Going to Amsterdam as soon as I can get myself back to the hostel.

My shoes have holes the size of quarters in the soles. Damn it.
