Now correct me if I am wrong here but it says that the new vampire Chronicals book will be Lestat wrestling with the existance of God...didn't we already cover that one in Memnoch the Devil? If I remember correctly (and forgive me but this was 13 years ago now at least since I read Memnoch) he visits Heaven and Hell and meets Jesus and Satan and loses his eye while on a visit to hell and while trying to escape from the true demons who are trying to keep him there.

Anne what are you thinking? First you disavow your beloved Lestat and other vampire companions for God, which while admirable was highly confusing to your fan base. We understand that the loss of Stan was devestaing to you and that the church helped you to cope with that. But Why go back and try to re-hash a story you've already told? We've already read (struggled thru was more like it, it really wasn't your best effort dear)Lestat's struggle with faith. I doubt any of us can forget the mental image of Lestat laying Prostrate on the floor of a chaple. Is this new book something you actually want to write or is this pressure from the publishing company to pump out another vampire novel because they know your fans will make it a best seller and they worry how your new series is affecting your fan base? No matter how much your fans love you and your work, if all you do is re-hash material covered in Memnoch, we won't be making it a best seller.
