Her skin is always strangely cool to the touch. Locke is drawn to it, constantly wanting to run his fingers over her skin and warm it. She sleeps without a nightgown-a habit of which he thoroughly approves-and without any covers, a habit that baffles him. Even her mouth is cooler than it should be, always as though she's just sipped ice water.
Edgar asked him, once, if she was as cold in bed as out of it. Watching her thrash and moan when he moves over her, Locke smiles faintly to himself. She isn't, but he'd never tell.
