Summary: Rydia takes a fierce joy in victory.
It's a foolish thing, but he notices how her face lights up when they are victorious. No matter what they fought, or whether she is wounded, she radiates a fierce joy when the last foe falls and she stands there, breathing hard, with the last glittering shards of magic fading away. The moment passes and she turns to the business of tending wounds and checking her weapons and armour for damage, but whenever he thinks of her, it is that look that comes to mind.
He finds out, later, that she wears the same look when she wins an argument.
