I serve my city, not my queen.
I am grateful I have a queen I can call my friend. I am pleased beyond words that she is a just and fair queen, and that under her stewardship the city has thrived.
I spoke the words to Queen Brahne, but I gave my oath to Alexandria. Steiner serves the Queen, and he gave his oath to guard her. I serve Alexandria. I will stand alone at the city gates and cut down as many enemy soldiers as I must until they are all dead or I am.
I serve my city.
