yay for me...i went grocery shopping today. why, you may be asking yourself, should such an average event be so specially noted? because this was the first time i've ever gone grocery shopping without the presence of mom hovering about. and i did a darn good job too. you see, my mom had a tooth pulled, so her face is swollen, she's talking funny, and she's somewhat foggy minded, so the great torch of family provision was passed onto me for the day. i felt like such a soccer mom..i had my grocery list of requests such as jello and ice cream (for the sore tooth) but then i made sure to add some fruits and vegetables, as if my fifty year old mother were still a growing young girl who needed her vitamins. AND i'm making dinner tonight..motherdom here i come.
