Creeeeeepy. I keep seeing the Amityville house in my head when I read this hehe. With the two big windows that look like eyes. Now I'm really intrigued as to what the deal is with Pearl. Obviously she's a ghost, but why is she tormenting them? I have a suspicion, but I'm not telling ;)

I haven't seen the Amityville movie in years, but that's a good description. I'm kind of curious about your suspicions. Even I didn't know how this was going to play out after the first chapter, because it took a turn I hadn't planned. :-p

I hear ya. I kind of hate when people (at the Pit usually) offer up their theories or what they think should happen, 'cause I always feel they'll be disappointed if it doesn't play out that way.

Wow, this is quite the mystery you've woven! I'm absolutely entranced. I love the character of Henry, any chance we'll see more of him? Also, you do such a great job of creating an intimate and realistic relationship between House and Cameron. Like the way House watched out for her in the boat and bought her clothes at the Market, and how she intuitively knew that something was bothering him in the hotel room. It's so very them.

I hadn't originally planned on bringing Henry back, but it seems he's determined to reappear. I love the quiet intimacy between House and Cam, so I'm glad you think it works. Thanks M, for another lovely comment. :D
