Thunder Rumbles in My Heart

Today on "The Pool"

I get tired of telling kids not to run. I was trying to imagine myself running to one side of the pool to the other in pure excitement of jumping off the diving board and I just couldn't picture it. And then I got sad. But anyway if you fall when you are running you will get blood everywhere because the concrete is so textured it will be like rubbing your skin against a cheese grater..

But like I said I get tired of telling kids not to run. So sometimes.. I don't tell them to refrain from running. Because maybe they will fall, and WHO'S RUNNIN' NOW PUNK!?

Casey, Alli, and I were in the office, [ Alli is the new cashier] when we hear a big BOOM.

This is the face we make when we hear thunder:

Alli said when Casey and I heard the thunder there was just this light in our eyes. We tried to explain to her how hearing thunder just rumbles in our hearts. Because all the lousy patrons have to leave. And it just makes this job all worth while.

After kicking everyone out we were free to do what we know best: nothing.

Strange things happen when you are in that office on a rain day. Alli got really dizzy:

and then she pulled her bra off.

So we sent her to go get us food. While she was gone we started talking about depth perception and decided to do a little experiment. We spent a good while tossing a marker to each other and trying to catch it with one eye closed.

And then Casey and Mike started having seizures so I put an end to the experiment and we played cards instead.

All in a days work.
