foul temptations

It was that when the hot summer air clung to our bodies like saran wrap. don't you remember? when we walked around the city aimlessly, thinking of ways to get money without having to go to an out of reach ATM {we're too fucking cheap to pay those fees for using another bank's} or to go back home to our lonely, empty apartments. Yeah it was that night when we just sat on a park bench and watched people go by and do what they do until the sun fought the moon to stay out longer ( kind of like us with our parents when we were so young to stay out so late ). But in the end the moon won [the stars are its minions] and in came that breeze that we waited and starved for.
Of course only a night like that could be burned into my brain. Only a night like that would I feel "I was a kaleidoscope".
