Finally, after along moment, she turned her head a fraction and blinked up at him through the tears. "C-carson?" she whispered, the sound barely perceptible and only audible due to the insane quietness of the night-time version of the infirmary.
She also managed to get a single head-shake in, an answer of sorts to his question.
