My brain is so blanking on the episode title...
But what was the opinion/response to Friday night's show?
It was lovely to see Carson helping out again! And I like the rationale behind why we won't be seeing him regularly this season - it makes sense, the idea of his needing some intense recoup time back on Earth.
I knew things would be interesting with Woolsey in the lead, and I like how they've kicked it off. There was about as much tension as I expected, but I like how events kept throwing curves at Woolsey. I think it's good that he had to see how often decisions are made in the heat of the moment, and sometimes not playing by the rules does get you a happier ending. But I also like that he is so uncomfortable with that. Not only is it in keeping with his character but I think it's good to be reminded that you shouldn't get too comfortable with bending the rules so often. It won't always work. And yes, those rules are there for a reason. I look forward to seeing all they ways they'll continue to explore this through his character and leadership of Atlantis.
I'm finding the little nods to the Rodney/Jennifer romance very amusing.
I like that we got a glimpse of baby John. Often in a show when a character has given birth it's WHAM - back to normal and we never see the wee lad or lass again. Not that I want to see the baby every episode, but it is nice to be reminded that Teyla is, in fact, a mommy now. ;)
Rodney had been visiting Carson-in-stasis to keep him up to date. Awwwww! That's so adorkable. : )
