Work on samba paper, taking screen shots of the roll out of Samba4 on Linux Mint and a how to on Mac 10.6. (BTW Win fans samba or smb beats the crap out of Windows servers.)

Apply for Apple store Genius position.
Get a hold of a classmate and re image old ubuntu laptop and sell it to 'em.
