Welcome to earth nephew
I from time to time can be rather sappy but today is a beautiful day to say the least, my nephew is scheduled to come out and say hello today on this glorious March 19,2010. It still seems like yesterday when I found out that I was going to be an auntie, and wow... here you come.
Some advice for ya lil one.
Life is about creating yourself and being happy.
Live each moment fully learn, live,laugh and love.
You get one shot at this thing so be careful but don't live in a bubble or this world will pass you up.
Never settle for second best/place.. always strive to be the best, but don't let it consume you either to where your life is full of greed and sadness.
One I found hard is its ok to not be in the center ring, sometimes when you are there, your to caught up in those theatrics to see the great things happening on the sidelines.. Some of the best moments are there having fun. I almost let this one a few times ruin a lot of opportunities.
Remember you are always your number one fan!
High school sucks... but push through it and college will be better, but what ever you do... GO and learn.
Be brave always, even when it seems like the night is so dark and scary, there is always some form of guide to be with you when your scared. Trust your instincts.
Not everyone who says they are your friend is, there are some backstabbing nuts out there, and not everyone who seems to be your enemy is.. sometimes the enemy of mine enemy is really your friend and gives some good advice.. (to my frienemy thank you, you helped me see what was important and warned me when things got bad and how to handle that situation)
with that said sometimes people are mean... tell em to go away, and instead of letting them make you cry let it make you be stronger.. A friend told me once when people sometimes pick you apart, it helps construct you to be even better at what you do
Never be afraid to work hard.
And yes there is a universe.... learn to listen to her, she'll help you out...
Never make fun of anyone,
and oh yea look out for karma, that ones a doozey always act like a gentleman and do the right thing and its easy peasy from there out
and again learn something new every day....
and don't forget to smell the roses once in a while..
Most of all know you auntie and unc love you lil one... Welcome home..
