Thats right coming soon near the date of March 7,2010 At&t will be offering the Motorola Backflip as an choice for those who have been envying the Android phones we all have been hearing a buzz about.
For those who are unaware this is one of the top noteworthy mobile devices debuting at the CES confrence in Nv this past January.
The Backflip is similar to the Motorola Droid/sholes in that it does offer the 5mpx camera and runs Android Éclair ver 2.1. a slight upgrade from Eclair 2.0.1. One nice feature it has is instead of the slide up screen this version will open up similar to an LG envy or Rummor phone.

Android and At&tWhat has me curious is how many people will still cling to the Iphail because of it being ooooo shiny and its apple? Quite frankly I have seen the Iphone and i was not impressed. The arm processor located inside the hardware is no where near the technology that is found in the android phones ie snapdragon core chips and the memory architecture. So one going to the HTC and other android phone manufacturers is getting more for there buck in performance. I am not clear as to how many people do shop for electronic toys like myself but I was very sold on the droid especially after a disappointing experience with the Blackberry storm 2. Personally I felt it had too much of a lag in its handling of text messages if you are a fast typer like me the delay can be very frustrating, plus the marketplaces... Blackberry world vs Android Market vs the Apstore.
Blackberry world is very proprietary and the apps there are not the most space friendly imo and they seem slow loading cheep and bulky. I know I have dealt with the Storm 2 and the Pearle 8130. But of the two the Pearl is the better.
Iphone app store, cute apps that don't do a whole lot and are a bit pricey....but alot of folks like em...
Then Android market... very big app forum. They have paid apps, free and new releases... and thousands of choices to fit you including great books for reference in there and the reading quality i found to be highly impressive.
While I am not a complete definitive guide to mobile phones, I always encourage people to go play with a phone before buying to see if its the right fit for you.. and secondly shop for what plan best fits your budget and what you will use realistically I myself am very partial to Verizon as they have been a great company to their customers.
