Family and fun
Well I recently had a wonderful surprise when a family member of mine from Ohio came down to Nola to visit for the past three days. Sunday we all kind of chilled out down off of St. Charles at the Audubon Park taking some cool photos of the flowers and different cool looking birds and stuff. Then Monday came and they helped Jason and I go down to Tulane to get our student Id's and we had lunch at Dragos and then off to orientation(thats right I finally have a job now) and once I got out we did some photos of the Causeway and took some photos of the water and stuff and then to one the boat launches and chilled.
Which puts us at today we visited the Audubon Insect exhibit and the Aquarium. Then to lunch at the Riverwalk and took a ride around looking at some of the areas affected by Katrina and then back here, and I am so grateful of how wonderful it was for my uncle to help Jas and I out a lil bit while he was down here since I don't start work until Thursday. I am going to miss them being down here, but I also need to get busy and finish off few things I must do for my financial aid. Plus I want to keep busy since I have nothing to do tomorrow I am trying to just relax and have one day of wtf one would call this before going back to work.
Also I am using a new tool I found that came loaded on Linux called Drivel for my LJ posts. The only drawback is I also have to log into LJ and edit my tags.
